Fatal Fire In Rural Central City

A Central City man has died after a house fire broke out in rural Central City yesterday.
The Merrick County Sheriff's office sent out the press release yesterday evening.
At about 3:15 p.m yesterday emergency crews were dispatched to the corner of State Highway 14 and L Road in rural Central City.
80 year old Bill Cedar was pronounced dead at the scene.
One firefighter received medical treatment on-site and was released.
The fire is under investigation, but no foul play is suspected.
